Fund The Wild was born from a simple, urgent reality: Saving little wild lives is CRAZY expensive!

From specialized formula for orphaned raccoons to life-saving medical supplies for injured opossums, the needs at Petri’s Place Wildlife Rehab never stop.

We created this boutique to bridge the gap between wanting to help and having the resources to act.

Every time you shop with us, you are directly funding a survival story. 

🌿 Why Fund The Wild Exists

Running a licensed wildlife rehabilitation and sanctuary is VERY expensive, exhausting, and often underfunded (there are no funds - zero - coming from the state, county or city folks...it's all fundraising or being blessed with small grants). Animals arrive as fragile babies or injured adults and require specialized care, species-specific diets, medical treatment, secure enclosures, and round-the-clock attention — all with the goal of release back into the wild whenever possible.

Fund The Wild exists to help ensure Petri’s Place Wildlife Rehab can remain open, sustainable, and staffed — without burning out the people doing the work.

This boutique is one part of a larger ecosystem of mission-driven businesses created to support that goal.
